Sunday Nofunday

We were supposed to have Grammy, Gramps, Aunt Kate & kiddies over today.  I thawed out the turkey that's been in the freezer since Thanksgiving and got all the supplies for my first attempt at a big Turkey Dinner…

But Gracie woke up with a stomach bug…  Millie's bladder problems are back…  And we have been up to our eyeballs in messes. (including Millie getting thrown up on)

We can only laugh at the disastrous day at this point.

PS – BabyLegs are great for messy situations!

After Gracie & I came in from a walk this weekend, she was about to crawl, sunhat & all, so I grabbed the camera.  She surprised us by pulling herself all the way up & standing for the first time ever!!!  Clearly, Bryan was super excited and so was I (after I yelled at him for his poor choice of excited words). 

Gracie even gives a little kiss in the video.

Weekend

We had a busy, fun-filled weekend:

• Visited Aunt LuLu, Aunt Jenny & Gracie’s cousins in MD
• Came home to practice lots of standing & crawling with Daddy
• Went to MyGym to sing & play
• Stood for the first time (video to come)
• Bought much needed baby proofing supplies
• Babysat Abby & Graham… very well behaved ;)
• Had a playdate with Kendall & Jordan
• Had a pizza party with Auntie Meg, Henry & Maeve
• Moved Gracie into her big girl car seat (go see Auntie Meg at Nurture if you need a car seat expert)

Gym Class

We had so much fun this morning at Gracie’s first MyGym class!

We met lots of other babies, moms & dads, sang songs, danced & played…

As you can see, Gracie was exhausted afterwards!

Grace Louise: 6-7 months

I have attempted (and failed) to post this little video at least 10 times this week...
I had a cute post about everything Gracie has been up to this winter (eating, rolling, clapping, giggling, sitting, scooting, etc), but at this point, I just hope it works!

Please excuse all the laundry in the background. It may not be folded or put away, but at least it is clean. I consider that an accomplishment for a working mama!
